Overview

Education in the community and in the workplace is a key ingredient to increasing the number of registered donors and saving more lives through transplantation.  The US DHHS Health Services & Resources Administration sponsors the Workplace Partnership for Life program specifically for hospitals to increase awareness, encourage registration, and celebrate the gift of life.

The 2023 Hospital Campaign begins on October 1, 2022, and runs until April 30, 2023.

HonorBridge can help you get connected and make sure your Hospital Campaign is a success!  There are three simple steps to get started:

Step 1: Learn more about the campaign on their website.

Step 2: Download the Campaign scorecard to track your progress.

Step 3: Reach out to your hospital liaison to let them know you want to be a part of this year’s Workplace Partnership for Life Campaign.

HonorBridge can help you plan your Workplace Partners for Life Campaign.

Planning a Donor Registration Drive

Donor registration drives are easy to coordinate!  They can stand alone or integrate into a larger health fair or event. You can plan a drive on your unit, in the breakroom, in the cafeteria, or online. And HonorBridge can help – just reach out to us and we’ll help you plan a successful donor registration drive.

Holding a Flag Raising Ceremony

A flag raising ceremony is a meaningful way to remember those who have given the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation. It can take many forms. It can be as simple as a moment of silence around a flagpole as the Donate Life Flag is raised, or it can be integrated into a Donate Life Month celebration or other memorial event.

HonorBridge can help –  just reach out to us and we’ll help you plan a successful flag raising ceremony.

Stories of Hope

Thank You Letters

Healthcare workers deserve our gratitude for so many things, but they are so often taken for granted.  As part of your Campaign, make it a priority to say “thank you” to the people who make the magic of donation and transplantation happen.
