Funeral Service Partners

Our Funeral Services Liaison works closely with funeral service professionals to ease the donation recovery process and return donors to their loved ones after donation has taken place. Together we can save and enhance lives through organ and tissue donation.

We recognize the following funeral service professionals for the care they provided to donor families in honoring the gift of donation in 2023. Each of these partners served ten or more donor families, and collectively served over 222 donor families.

Donor Champions

Many of our funeral home partners go above and beyond to advocate for the transformative power of organ, eye, and tissue donation. They work hard to save and heal lives and to care for grieving families, and we’re grateful for their extra effort.

Miller Funeral Service, North Wilkesboro, NC

The staff at Miller Funeral Home always work with HonorBridge to maximize the gift of donation.  Led by President David Miller, they actively promote organ, eye, and tissue donation by sharing information in their funeral home and online, by wearing and distributing Donate Life lapel pins, and by providing opportunities for donor families to express appreciation for their loved one’s gift of life.  David is an organ recipient himself! He displays his Donate Life registration tag on his personal vehicle and shares his personal story whenever he has an opportunity.  They are truly advocates for families and for giving the gift of life through donation.
