As part of Donate Life Month each April, several of our hospital partners pause for just a moment to recognize, celebrate, and honor all of the donor heroes who have given the gift of life over the last year. The ceremony usually involves raising the Donate Life flag and holding and a moment in silence at 10:08am, to recognize that one donor can save eight lives (and touch so many others).
We’re so grateful that some of the busiest people in our community take the time to stop and give thanks for the incredible gifts of organ, eye, and tissue donation that save and heal lives every day.
